Terms & conditions of sale

By trading with Bumblebee Toys Ltd you agree to be bound by the following conditions.

Our contract with you

When you place an order with Bumblebee Toys Ltd, you will be sent a confirmation email containing the details of your order. This confirmation is automatic and does not enter you (or Bumblebee Toys Ltd) into any contract.

Your order simply represents an offer from you to purchase a product which is accepted by us when you pay in full for the said product.

The contract between you and Bumblebee Toys Ltd begins at this point (on full payment of your order), and extends only to the products specifically identified in the dispatch confirmation notice and invoice.

Payment

Here at Bumblebee Toys Ltd we accept most major credit and debit cards and your card will be debited once you've confirmed your order online. We do not hold onto your credit card details for future authorisation.

Alternatively you can place your order via email or over the phone and post us a cheque. However goods cannot be dispatched until your cheque has cleared and this can take up to 10 working days, from receipt of your cheque. Please make your cheque payable to Bumblebee Toys Ltd and include your home address and card details on the back of the cheque. Please post your cheque to Bumblebee Toys Ltd, 2 Morris Street, Sheringham, Norfolk, NR26 8JX, United Kingdom.

Delivery

We aim to post your items out to you within 1 working day and all orders will be sent first class. The postage and packaging charge for UK orders valued under £10.00 will be £2.50 and for all other orders will be £4.95.

For all European orders valued less than £21.00 the postage charge will be £7.50. For all orders of a higher value than £21.00, the postage will be £18.00.

Availability

Our intention is to have all our products in stock but in reality as many of our lines are hand made and produced by small scale manufacturers, this is not always possible. We will always advise you if the item you are after is out of stock and do our best to re-order the item for you as quickly as possible.

Product information

Every effort is made to produce accurate photographs and text descriptions of all our products. As much of our range is hand made or hand finished, there will sometimes be slight variations in colour, size and finish. This is part of the joy of owning a hand made product - no two items will ever be identical.

Returns policy

Our aim is to deliver you toys that you'll cherish and enjoy but should you need to return something to us then please follow these guidelines.

Firstly please check your goods on receipt to ensure they are in good order and have not been damaged in anyway. If there is a problem please email us or phone us straight away so we can help you. Customer satisfaction is very important to us so you will receive our prompt attention.

You can return all unused items within 14 days for a full refund or an exchange but postage cannot be refunded, other than for faulty items and refunds will only be issued once the goods have been received back. Goods should be returned in their original packaging and returned to us using the registered postal service. By law, you have the right to cancel an order and return items (unopened and in a re-saleable condition) for refund (of the purchase price only, unless faulty or mis-delivered) at any time before the order is dispatched or within seven working days of the day after the date the item was received.

Ownership rights

In all cases, ownership of any goods dispatched remains solely with Bumblebee Toys Ltd until such time as those goods have been paid for, when ownership rights will pass to you, the customer.

Alterations to service, site or conditions

We reserve the right to make changes to our website, policies, and these conditions at any time.

You will be subject to the policies and conditions in force at the time of order placing, unless any change to those policies or these conditions is required to be made by law or government authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you).

Events beyond our reasonable control

We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control.

This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
